English-Speaking Family Lawyer in Madrid
Divorce · Child custody · Maintenance · Inheritance, for expats and international families
Going through a separation or a family dispute in a country that isn't your own is hard. Different courts, a different language and different rules can make it feel impossible to know where you stand.
I'm Laura Rincón Agueda, a family lawyer based in Madrid (Chamberí). I advise and represent expats and international couples living in Spain, and I explain everything in clear, plain English.

What I can help you with?
- Divorce and separation: by mutual agreement or contested, including marriages celebrated abroad.
- Child custody and parenting arrangements: custody, visiting rights, relocation and international travel with children.
- Child support and spousal maintenance.
- Division of property: family home, assets and property in Spain and abroad.
- Modification of existing court orders.
- Inheritance and succession for foreign residents in Spain.
- Cross-border questions: which country's courts and which law apply to your case.

How I work
- First consultation. We review your situation, your documents and your options. I explain the process and the likely steps. It has a fee of 80€ + IVA
- Strategy. I always look first for an agreement, because it is usually faster, cheaper and less painful for the whole family. When that isn't possible, I defend your interests firmly in court.
- Follow-up. You get clear updates at every stage, and I answer your questions directly. I handle the paperwork with Spanish courts and, where needed, coordinate with lawyers in your home country.
